And that "Thunder Road" is the perfect kickoff song for "when you're past college and the gleam and glamour is starting to wear thin and you're wondering what life might hold." • Edward James 0 — This is a straight banger, and really one of only two truly upbeat song of the bunch. Which is interesting because I would say I listen to upbeat music vastly more than I listen to anything else. This has Brad’s fingerprints all over it, although from the comment I think it’s probably Joseph. This is my choice for runner-up. I think I only went with the others over this because they were a bit more unique and out of the box.

Brad Stalcup: There's a certain vulnerability whenever a man sings in falsetto. Couple that with the thematic content of this song and you have a heart-wrenching performance from an otherwise upbeat and cynical ska band.

I enjoyed the surprise/story arc of the whole song though!!
