  • Edward James +1The Warren Zevon original version is better for sure, but this was a really great cover. He wrote this song after finding out he had terminal cancer. What makes it so good I think is “a while.” recognizing that people will move on and you won’t occupy as much space in their mind, but you’re still in their heart, even as they learn to get along without you.
  • Brad Stalcup +1Big fan of this one. Probably my favorite on the list.
  • fionmul 0You’re already there and you’ll stay 💞
  • Joseph Harvey 0In my own listening I would never, ever encounter an album cover anything like this

  • Edward James 0Very close on this one Alex, just beaten out by my top four
  • Brad Stalcup 0Cool song, but didn't see any Augustine in here.
  • Joseph Harvey 0This is just much easier to read as a breakup song than Augustine vibes
  • Claire 0This was one of the more loosely Augustinian submissions imo. I liked the song well enough though

  • judd.baker +1I was surprised by how much I enjoyed speeding to this
  • Joseph Harvey +1Frantic is the word, and for this theme it works
  • Claire +1Never heard this song before but can absolutely imagine myself speeding to it
  • fionmul 0"it sounds like a bike" "banjo"
  • Edward James 0Banger but doesn’t fit the theme for me
  • SamRobertsND 0The Great Northern Alex (Chungus Akroniensus) sits on the porch of his Appalachian cabin, taking pot shots at lost Ravens with his over under 12 gauge while drinking factory made “Moonshine”
  • Regina Scime -1The varying tempi made me feel like I was having a stroke

  • shea nowicki +110/10 listening experience
  • SamRobertsND +1The old country
  • fionmul +1Yes. Just the first few seconds and I am in. I had moonshine for the first time on this porch. And also on this hallowed porch, realized I like whiskey and its buzz for better or worse.
