Not only do the lyrics perfectly capture falling in love, but the song sounds exactly like it feels. Second, I like the identification of the small moments as where love is really found. Reminds me of John 1:39 "Come," he replied, "and you will see." So they went and saw where he was staying, and they spent that day with him. It was about four in the afternoon." Why note it was 4 in the afternoon other than because it's a moment so vividly remembered as a the moment your very life was altered by a single encounter? It's so utterly human. Just went back and listened to the original version, which is better for sure, but I kind of like the idea of Joseph identifying the idea of falling in love with hardcore music, like a 16 year old in 2008. It’s not enough for the song to be “about” falling in love, there is a certain cadence that just captures the feeling and the movement of falling in love. This is it Edward James 0 — Just sublime. This whole album is a masterpiece.
