• fionmul +1 — at first i thought the person killed their brother. i love the storytelling of this song and the ending smacking of Christian Hope the best to ever do it, absolute legend, whoever submitted this has brilliant taste 💯
• Claire +1 — I was struck by the way this song gets into the interior life of the killer himself. Also of course “these are difficult times.” I feel like it isn’t just a gimmick though, it adds to the melancholy and (dare I say) psychological disjointedness that the song is trying to capture. Love the instrumentation too. Gordon gets my vote

• judd.baker 0 — Truly stacked round, almost voted for this but I liked a few other songs more. But this is excellent. Props for the inclusion of an unintentional homicide in this round

• judd.baker +1 — This song is spellbinding. Casting the characters in the story of the Resurrection as, what, Scots Irish sailors? It’s mystical, the connections are inexplicable and murky, I loved every minute of it. Can’t believe I haven’t heard this before but my Sting knowledge is pretty shallow actually.
